The New Holland FX300 is a self-propelled forage harvester from New Holland’s FX series, designed for demanding forage and silage harvesting operations. It combines crop pickup, feeding, chopping, and discharge into a single machine, allowing harvested material to be processed efficiently in the field.
The FX300 is particularly suited to grass, maize, and other forage crops, with the exact crop application depending on the header fitted to the machine. Its large agricultural tires, enclosed operator cab, powerful diesel engine, and dedicated chopping system make it suitable for high-capacity harvesting operations. The FX series was introduced in 1995 and originally included the FX300, FX375, and FX450, with the model numbers corresponding broadly to their horsepower classes.
